Trimming the Tree 2007

Here is Jef trimming our very first ever real tree for Christmas. He was very excited to get this done, he said that he never remembers having a real tree his whole life. Growing up for me that is all we ever had, a few times even we went and cut down our own at my dad's in Moscow.

The next few pictures are of Jef getting it all set up and then he and the boys decorated "their tree".

The boys from L to R Cole, Logan and Mason.

Cole is having a real hard time keeping his hands off the decorations. We have only had 1 broken bulb since Sunday, hopefully that is all we have.

Jef loved putting up all of our family decorations we have collected over the last 10 years.

Now comes the final picture of the "boys" tree all decorated and waiting for Santa to put presents under.

And now a picture of Mommies pretty tree, that no one is too touch.

Your trees look just marvelous! Im sure the boys had fun decorating thier tree. Our family used to do that when we were younger. Sometimes I wish I could have a pretty tree. Maybe in a few years. Looking forward to seeing you guys

Dale brokered Christmas trees in Yakima every Christmas with his job at Four Seasons and we picked out a live one every year. We even went and cut down one a couple of years. Maybe that will jog Jef's memory. The trees look great, I'm sure that the kids are way excited.

I love the smell of fresh Christmas trees. I also love that you have more than one tree. I personally believe that one cannot have too many tress. Each are fabulous in their own way.

I remember our first year in Nampa, we had a huge recently killed doug fir in the living room (where no one was allowed), and a (not so recently killed) scotch pine in the basement - where everyone hung out. the needles dropped so badly on the scotch pine we replaced it 3-4 days later with an artificial tree.
