Family Fun Night

This Wednesday was a nice change for us. I didn't have young women's so we were able to do something fun with our family. We went ice skating. The boys have been doing chores around the house to earn points to buy activities or "things" they listed before we picked the chores. They have earned a little over 100 in a month so they were able to pick something to do and ice skating was it.

We invited some friends and everyone had a great time. It was our entire families first time. I just watched, no more falling down for me. It was great to be out together trying something new. All little Cole could talk about the next day was "I go ice skating yesterday!" over and over in Cole fashion.

Here are some pictures, hope you enjoy.

The ice skating place had these really cool little things to help first time skaters stay up. Cole just got right on the ice and tootled off.

Mason and our friend's daughter Ryann. She is in the same kindergarten class as Mason and are friends. It was here first time as well.

I don't have any pictures of Logan he went off way to fast for me to get any. Him and his friend Tren had a great time, even though they fell lots of times.

Sounds like a very fun evening. The point system sounds pretty great and sounds like it is working well. I like the helpers for young skaters. I haven't seen them before. Hope you are feeling good, you look beautiful.

Wow, what a fun time. I remember having ice skates when I was growing up, but didn't fair too well on the ice, did much better with roller skates. Your boys would be naturals, they love the physical activities.

Now that looks fun. I'm glad they have helpers for the kids, but do they make them in adult size? I would totally need one!

I am not sure about adult helpers, we didn't see any, but they did have the wall to hug.
