We had a wonderful weekend for the 4th of July. I all ready blogged about the fun and fireworks had on the 4th but our weekend did not end there. On the 5th of July Logan chose to be baptized. It was a wonderful experience for our family. Logan was soo excited he was such a big boy all week talking about his baptism and knowing what a big decision it was to be a member of the church. Logan was the only one from our ward to be baptized this month and was the second to last for all the baptisms in the stake. Needless to say the water was pretty murkey. He told us aftewards that there was bugs in the water. Grandpa Doug told him they needed baptized too. Logan thought that was pretty funny. We did have a little hiccup at the baptism, our bishopric member did not show up so we were left to confirm Logan on Sunday which normally wouldn't have been a problem, but Jef was blessing Ella on Sunday and didn't want to monopolize sacrament meeting. Our good neighbor Kevin called our counselor and we only had to wait a few minutes for him to show up and Logan was confirmed that same day. Logan really has a testimony of the church. I just wanted to share with you some of things he has said to me about what he feels his testimony is:
He knows that Joseph Smith was a true prophet.
He knows that this is the true church.
He knows he has a forever family.
He knows that he can be forgiven of his sins if he asks heavenly father in prayer.
He also loves his family very much, even though this not really part of his testimony it is something he always says.
I love Logan sooo much, he came first in our family for a reason. He is so kind and generous. He is a big helper to his mom and brothers and sister. He is very friendly and wants everyone to get along and have fun. These are just a few of his great qualities.

We were very glad we got to witness Logan being baptised. He is such a good boy and a great helper. I'm sure he will remember his baptism day forever.
What a great testimony! I'm sure he was so proud to become a member of the church. He sure is growing up fast! I remember watching him as a baby in Meridian, time goes too fast!
I'm so glad you shared his testimony with us. You are raising a fine young man. And Uncle Doug is funny... baptising bugs. : )
Thanks for sharing these wonderful things about Logan. He is indeed a great example and strength for his brothers and sister and all his cousins. Grandma is sure proud of him.
Logan is a special kid that's for sure! I am happy and feel blessed to have him in the family......he'll be an amazing missionary
Thanks for sharing Logan's testimony. He is a very special boy and belongs to a very special family. Hard to believe that he is eight already.
