Before 20 girlee quilts.
Living with Grandma has given a whole new perspective on her. Don't get me wrong I really really love her and appreciate all she has done for me now and when I was a kid, but man is she quirky. She makes quilts like crazy. This is just a sampling of what she has. I went thru them this last Saturday and separated the girlee and boyee ones. Grand total in one spot downstairs (she says she has more hidden around) 20 girls and 16 boys. I told her she was behind on the boys so last two times she has been out she has picked up some boy material.
She is making Jef and I a quilt for Christmas I am really excited I will post once it is done and on my bed in my own place.

After I vacummed 16 of them into a storage bag.

Im glad your helping out your grandma. She is so ambitious(sp) I also like the blanket you made for Katy. Sarah the seamtress who knew?
nothing like a homemade quilt from grandma!!! that is so awesome!
I love blankets...has she ever considered donating any to humanitarian services, they sure could use some.
She donates them all the time. One year she made a ton for the hospital I think.
The quilts are treasures. They look beautiful. You are so fortunate to have your Grandmother part of your life.
So does that mean that you bought a house???
I love all of the quilts, I wish I knew how to make them. I am not too exact at sewing and I would probably mess it up! :( Oh well maybe one day I will try it.
Miss you!!!!
