Life of a homemade Birthday Cake

Here is the inspiration.

Results to be posted later.

And the RESULTS are:

The frosting isn't as smooth as I would have liked but hey I actually made a successful birthday cake. I have always bought them in the past so after 8 cakes for Logan and 6 cakes for mason lucky #15 was homemade and somewhat cute. Can I call it cute, it was for a 7 year old boy?

I tried making these same lego cakes for Max's birthday last year. They turned out really cute but not as cute as the picture. I made my frosting too thick! Have fun!

Cute cake! I'm glad I have your right blog address now! I'll show Tren and Ryann the pictures of the boys. I can't believe how big Ella is getting!

The cake was an awesome success. Cole thinks I am making him a Pixar Cars cake today...no such luck for him. Primo's dessert pizza will have to do, or maybe Reed's Dairy will sufice too, we shall see how the night progresses.
